Philippines approves Pfizer COVID-19 vaccine for ages 5 to 11

The Philippines Food and Drug Administration (FDA) has approved the the emergency use of the Pfizer COVID-19 vaccine for children aged 5 to 11.
Pfizer is the first vaccine to be authorised and administered to children in this age category in the Philippines.
Pfizer has a 90% efficacy for children aged 5 to 11, the Philippine FDA Chief said. In its application for EUA, Pfizer pointed out its vaccine generated a “robust” antibody response for children.
