The World Health Organization has announced the selection of the Central Public Health Laboratories in the Sultanate of Oman as a collaborating centre in the field of emerging infectious diseases.
The centre will serve the eastern Mediterranean region and will have a global role within the internationally accredited and cooperating centres.
