Bahrain records 1,047 new COVID-19 cases, 5 deaths

Out of 18,112 COVID-19 tests carried out on 4 April 2021, 1047 new cases have been detected among 331 expatriate workers, 690 new cases are contacts of active cases, and 26 are travel related. There were 852 recoveries, increasing total recoveries to 138,407.
There are currently 69 COVID-19 cases in a critical condition, and 157 cases receiving treatment. 9,805 are stable out of a total of 9,874 active cases.
The ministry also announced five Covid-19 related deaths, raising the total deaths to 536.
