The Arab Coalition on Thursday intercepted and destroyed an explosive-laden drone launched by the Iranian-backed Houthi militia toward the Saudi city of Jazan, a statement from the coalition said.
In the statement, the Coalition to Support Legitimacy in Yemen said that the Houthi militia continues to try to target civilians, adding: “It is taking operational measures to protect civilians and civilian facilities from terrorist attacks.”
A week ago, the Arab Coalition said it intercepted and destroyed as many as 8 armed drones and 3 ballistic missiles launched by the Houthi militia targeting Saudi Arabia.
