The Zakat, Tax and Customs Authority (ZATCA) has thwarted an attempt to smuggle 2,015,116 Captagon tablets at Al Haditha port, which were found hidden in a shipment coming to the Kingdom through the port.
ZATCA stated that a shipment of “tomatoes and pomegranates” was carried on one of the incoming trucks.
During a routine inspection of one of the vehicles, the drugs were found hidden inside the cavities of tomato and pomegranate.
