A ban on flights from the UAE to Scotland is to be lifted today, UK authorities announced. From 4am, direct flights from the UAE to Scotland will be allowed, the Foreign Office said.
Direct flights to England, Wales and Northern Ireland will remain prohibited, the British Foreign Office said.
British and Irish nationals, and third country nationals living in the UK arriving in England from the UAE will still be required to quarantine in a hotel.
Other visitors arriving in the UK who have been in or transited through the UAE in the previous 10 days will not be permitted entry.
