Saudi Arabia: Unvaccinated students will be considered absent
Minister of Education, Dr. Hamad Al-Sheikh on Sunday pointed out that students above 12 years must receive two doses of the COVID-19 vaccine to attend educational facilities. He also noted that students will be considered absent until they are fully vaccinated with both the doses.
He called on all students, their parents, and teachers to take the vaccine.
The minister directed education directors to conduct field visits to schools during this week to determine its readiness in terms of maintenance, the availability of sterilization tools and the application of precautionary measures.
