Expats Arrested Trying to Enter Oman Illegally

The Royal Oman Police (ROP), represented by Coast Guard Police, arrested 19 persons on charges of trying to enter Oman illegally. The arrests were made at Shinas in North Al Batinah on March 1st.

A statement issued online by the ROP said: “Coast Guard police command boats arrested persons in a boat used to smuggle illegal immigrants. 19 expats were arrested in the jurisdiction of Shinas police station and legal procedures are completed against them.”
