Biological Clean Up Operation At Bahrain Airport

The Disinfection and Handling of Hazardous Substances Branch of the General Administration of Civil Defense carried out a biological disinfection process at Bahrain International Airport, which included the arrival and departure halls, corridors, buses, and airplanes, in order to reduce the spread of diseases and infection in general and to control the Coronavirus in particular.
The disinfection operations for any biological danger, within the procedures that the branch undertakes to prevent the transmission and spread of disease among the users and employees of these facilities.
This process is scheduled to be repeated with every new case announced in the Kingdom immediately upon its arrival at Bahrain International Airport, in order to make sure the region is free of any epidemic. The specialized team consisting of 7 officers and 3 mechanisms will be present around the clock, in cooperation and coordination with the authorities concerned with the airport.
