Bahrain: COVID-19 Patient Sentenced to Prison for Coughing at Staff

“The Lower Criminal Court sentenced a COVID-19 patient to three years in prison and BD1000 fine,” stated a report by Albilad.

According to the report, the patient deliberately removed his face mask and coughed in front of the center’s staff. The report added that the patient came to the center to undergo his last COVID-19 examination.
